Our aim is to brighten up the lives of thousands of customers all over Europe. We started as the leading wholesaler of bouquets, wreaths and other natural decorations in 1998 but now import all kinds of other products, such as glass, ceramics, baskets and zinc pots, too. We source more than 4,000 beautiful products from countries all over the world, including India, China, Turkey, Poland and Germany, as well as from the Netherlands. Products for both inside and out — always of good quality and sustainable wherever possible.
Our items find their way to wholesalers, companies that grow and repot plants for the retail market, garden centres and florist chains in the Netherlands and abroad.

Our team originated in the plant and flower import and export trade. Years of experience in this sector and our passion for everything that grows and blooms meant that the step to selling natural decorative materials was no more than logical. Whereas we started selling bouquets of dried flowers, we currently deliver anything you might need to help plants and flowers show to best advantage. Think: ceramics, baskets and other decorative materials.

We set Jacaranda up in 1998. At the time, the founder, Mr Van Zoomeren, imported the most wonderful dried flowers from Poland and India into the Netherlands for a large clientele. The name ‘Jacaranda’ comes from the Jacaranda tree. During one of his trips abroad, the first owner became fascinated with this fabulous tree and its purplish blue blooms and the colour is still visible in our logo.
Vincent Schouten took over Jacaranda in 2009. He expanded the range from solely dried flowers to include decorative items for the house and garden. Jacaranda is thus no longer simply a dried flower specialist but is now a supplier of a wide spectrum of natural decorative materials, such as pots, baskets and glass vases.
Sustainable entrepreneurship is very important to us. We work only with certified companies where environmental and safety requirements are in place and which are regularly inspected. It is also of great importance to us that the working conditions of staff at our suppliers comply with requirements. We visit our suppliers’ factories twice a year to ensure that this is the case. As a result, we can assure you that, for example, they do not employ children.
Our products are always fabricated with care and love. Furthermore, we like to work with sustainable suppliers. A lot of the products we provide are, for instance, made from recycled glass and our baskets are made from sustainable materials.
There are more than 4,000 products in our web shop, so there is more than enough to see. Moreover, we are continually renewing our range. We visit trade fairs regularly to keep abreast of new vogues, ensuring that our range always boasts the trendiest products.
